At Hvide Sande Camping, you will find exactly that: a family-friendly base in the middle of nature, where the sea, the dunes, and the fresh air set the scene for a vacation with peace and presence.
The beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the campsite and offers plenty of opportunities for play, sandcastles, swimming trips and long walks. The fjord on the other side of the square provides calmer surroundings where children can explore nature in a safe way. The town of Hvide Sande is located nearby, so you can easily combine nature experiences with an ice cream at the harbor or a short visit to the town.
On the site, children have good opportunities to play freely. The playground, the green areas and the clearly defined surroundings make it safe for both children and adults.
Many families choose one of our cabins, which provides a little extra comfort and a fixed base after a day of activities and outdoor life. You can also choose a spot for a tent or caravan if you want the classic camping experience.
The nature of the West Coast is an experience in itself. Here children can run in the dunes, collect stones on the beach, and be outside from morning to evening. It’s a type of holiday where you don’t have to plan much – nature’s playground is ready right outside the door.
Whether you choose a cabin or a campsite, you will be staying close to our shared facilities and have a short walking distance to the beach. If you have special requests regarding location or cabin, we will be happy to help find a solution that best suits your family.

It is a lovely and quiet place. You can walk up to the beach. There are two playgrounds where the children can play.
There is a small grocer that has good food
e.g. the rolls and good Friday candy.One should go there for a weekend.
Super lovely campsite, with a heartwarming atmosphere 😀 The loveliest owner, as well as all the staff at the site… From the very first moment we checked in, we felt welcome and like part of the camping family. Absolutely fantastic! We were excited. A fantastic location in the middle of the dunes, with the beach right in front of us. The beach is a beautiful, wide stretch of sand where you can even let the dogs run.
