A vacation is always better when the whole family can come along – including the dog. At Hvide Sande Camping, dogs are welcome, and our location close to the beach, nature trails, and open areas makes it easy to bring your dog on vacation.
The West Coast is an obvious place for dog owners. The beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the campsite and offers plenty of opportunities for long walks, playing in the sand, and fresh air.
In the area around the fjord, you will find quieter paths and good opportunities for walks where the dog can explore nature at its own pace.
With us, you can stay both in cabins and at campsites with your dog. The square’s green areas and manageable surroundings make it easily accessible to walk the dog during the day.
We simply ask that dogs be kept on a leash on the premises and that consideration is shown for the other guests.
The beach and the dune landscape provide plenty of space for movement and experiences. Many guests highlight nature as the biggest advantage of bringing a dog – here there is room to go for long walks, take breaks in the dunes and enjoy a stress-free vacation.
Many people choose our cabins when they travel with the dog, as they provide a safe base with plenty of space. You can also choose a regular campsite, where there is often even more space around you. If you have preferences regarding placement, we will be happy to help find the solution that best suits you.

It is a lovely and quiet place. You can walk up to the beach. There are two playgrounds where the children can play.
There is a small grocer that has good food
e.g. the rolls and good Friday candy.One should go there for a weekend.

Absolutely fantastic! We were excited. A fantastic location in the middle of the dunes, with the beach right in front of us. The beach is a beautiful, wide stretch of sand where you can even let the dogs run.
